Licensed Professional Counselors Dr. John and Janet Raymond, LPC, offer Christian counseling for individuals, couples, and families—in person in the Front Royal / Winchester, Virginia area and by telehealth (including North Carolina with John).

We help people who are seeking understanding, direction, healing, and peace. Some come because of suffering. Others want to strengthen a marriage, navigate a life transition, or rediscover purpose and hope. In every case, we work to turn pain toward growth through skilled counseling and the love and power of the Holy Spirit.

We live in a fallen world, and we ourselves fall short. Yet God loves us and has made provision for our shortcomings and our growth. Counseling with us addresses both the practical struggles in front of you and the deeper search for dignity, meaning, and purpose — offering help with healing, grace, and freedom from what keeps people stuck.

How Counseling May Help

John and Janet bring decades of combined clinical experience and training in a range of therapeutic approaches. They integrate these professional methods with a Christian worldview of redemption: the biblical story of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration. In simple terms, that means we take seriously how life was meant to work, how brokenness affects us, how real change is possible, and how people can move toward hope and restoration.
Faith is woven into the work when it is wanted and helpful.
